Terms of Service
1. Booking and Payment
Studio sessions or projects are confirmed once payment or an agreed deposit has been received. Prices quoted on this website are per session or per project as indicated on each service.
2. Studio Time
Session time begins at the scheduled start time. Late arrival does not extend the booked session. Please arrive rehearsed and ready to record.
3. Rescheduling and Cancellation
Bookings may be rescheduled free of charge with at least 48 hours notice. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before a session may forfeit the deposit.
4. Revisions
Mixing and mastering services include the number of revision rounds stated on the service. Additional revisions are billed separately.
5. Ownership and Master Rights
You retain full ownership of your compositions, lyrics and performances. Smooth Sound Music Studio retains ownership of any original beat or instrumental until a separate licence or buyout is agreed in writing.
6. File Delivery and Storage
Final files are delivered digitally on completion of payment. We archive session files for 90 days after delivery. Please keep your own backups.
7. Conduct
We maintain a professional, respectful environment. We reserve the right to end a session without refund in cases of abusive behaviour, intoxication or damage to equipment.
8. Liability
We take great care with your work but are not liable for loss of data caused by events outside our reasonable control.
